Tech For Good Unveils 11 new Singaporean Social Tech Startups

Tech For Good (T4GSG.ORG), the global social tech movement, launched its first cohort in Singapore of social tech startups that will be empowered in Tech For Good acceleration program. Tech For Good (T4G) provide unique 4 months of an educational program to a selected group of social tech startups. According to T4G, social tech startups are defined as a company that use technology in innovative ways to tackle social issues.


T4G will focus on social issues that are meaningful, global and can be addressed by using technology. Among the issues that T4G startups aim to address are related to: Social inequality, Education, Nutrition and health, Aging population, and a Safer Road and Work Environment.

According to Yoav Elgrichi and Kineret Karin, the founders of T4G Singapore, it was tough to select the best and most promising startups among over 50 that applied to the program. Eventually we chose 11, although the original plan was to start with 10. The criteria’s for selection were a combination of innovative ideas that tackle meaningful issue, along with a passionate and capable founder/s team that clearly thought about a solid business model to ensure growth, sustainability and impact.
