Wipay is a Fintech company that specialise in driving Chinese tourist and enabling Chinese tourist mobile payment to increase revenue for merchants in Asia.  We hlep local merchants to enable mobile payment that facilitates and increase Chinese tourist spending at their location.  On top of that, our partnership with key Chinese platforms such as MeiTuan-Dianping with more than 350m monthly active users, helps to drive additional footprint traffic to their location.

Why did we join?
As an emerging enterprise, we believe that what we do, should contribute to the society and we believe that by joining GCNS, it would help us to understand how best we can continually a meaningful organisation.

About Us
The Global Citizen ("TGC") is Southeast Asia's first education social enterprise which consults, coaches and creates academic co-curricular learning experiences.  As a Singapore based start-up, TGC capitalises on an international network of teams to service governments, schools and businesses in five countries in Asia and counting.  TGC offers a wide range of educational programs ranging from debate, Odyssey of the Mind to global citizenship education, in the hopes of equipping tomorrow's leaders with 21st century skills, to think critically, write creatively and speak confidently.

Why did we join?

We joined GCNS because of its insitutional values and goals which are very much aligned wiht ours.  As an education-centric business, we teach our students about the Sustainability Development Goals.  Hence, being a part of GCNS was a natural fit for us.  Most importantly, as change makers, we hope to lead by example being a part of GCNS allows us to do just that.

No company strategy is complete these days without a statement on corporate social responsibilty or sustainable practices.  In fact, the sports industry plays a major role in investing in communities and caring for the environment.

SportOn Global not only assist companies in branding its products and services but in building brand relationships.  These relationships extend beyond simply buiulding brand awareness for the partner into more strategic aims such as mutual reinforcement of brand values.  For example, the collaboration between Manchester United Soccer Schools and Reem Investments in the UAE focused United players to reinforce the message that consuming high sugar content food and drinks is dangerious and in no one's best interest.

SportOn Global's activation of sports personalities and coaches builds emotional equity with all stakeholders and is therefore a necessary element wen optimising CSR campaigns in sport.

Allows SportOn Global to be kept abreast of CSR and sustainability practices and to be plugged into the sustainable business eco-system in Singapore.
