Global Compact Network Singapore held two sessions of training workshop on 28 and 31 August 2017, on Progressing on SDGs Through GRI Sustainability Reporting.  The sessions were well received with a total of 45 participants.

The trainer, Ms Alyson Slater, Director, Knowledge and Emerging Markets of GRI shared on the latest global developments in advancing the SDGs, discussed the main challenges of contributing to and reporting on the SDGs and how GRI Sustainability Reporting Standards can aligned and linked with SDGs.

In addition, the guest speaker, Ms Janet Neo, Head of Corporate Sustainability of Fuji Xerox Asia Pacific, presented on real-life case studies of the challenges faced and the benefits of sustainability reporting.  The sharing session by Ms Janet provided a better understanding on how businesses adopt Sustainability Reporting.
