Though the offence of corruption is broad in scope, Singapore rose to the 7th position on Transparency International's Corruption Perception Index in 2017. This is mainly attributed to the Prevention of Corruption Act, which is the main anti-corruption legislation in Singapore that allows the CPIB extensive power to investigate corruption.
However, this is not to say that there are no instances of corruption in Singapore. How can business-to-business corruption be minimised for businesses to be sustainable?
In this Thought Leadership, we will hear from distinguished speakers on the topics of stewardship in business and taking an integrated approach to anti-corruption policies to realise one of the Ten United Nations Global Compact's Principles on how "businesses should work against corruption in all its forms."
