OUR MEMBERSHIP

To be the go-to agency for companies that are based in Singapore to begin, deepen and widen their understanding and implementation of CSR and Corporate Sustainability practices.

We organise a vast variety of CSR-related events and programmes that are designed to suit the needs of all the stakeholders within an organisation.

From Training programmes & Networking sessions that aid in developing the capacity of executives to fulfil their role most effectively; to Thought Leadership events which aim to add local perspectives to global trends; to Distinguished Dialogue events that create platforms for our members to interact and network with eminent speakers – our events aim to build the vision and capabilities of our member organisations in ways that will not only make the organisation sustainable but through them build a larger, more sustainable business eco-system in Singapore.

Mr. Wilson Ang, Executive Director

Mr. Wilson Ang is the Executive Director of the Global Compact Network Singapore. Wilson holds a Masters in Diplomacy from the University of Oxford. Over the last 10 years, he has held several appointments with expansive portfolios ranging serving on various national, regional and global boards. He believes the only way to create a better planet for human survivability is for every individual to take responsibility for their own actions by being more conscious about daily choices in consumption habits. He also hopes to create 10,000 green jobs through working with the people, private and public sectors.

Dr. Ryal Wun, Deputy Executive Director

Ryal has held a wide range of appointments in the public and private sectors since 1993, serving in operations and administration at national and regional levels. A Land Rover enthusiast, his interests include travel, bushcraft, fine dining, and the welfare and protection of children. He serves on the Board of Visitors to Children’s Homes. A published researcher in international journals, Ryal holds several advanced degrees, including an MBA (Investment and Finance), a Master of Laws (International Law), a Masters in Diplomacy (Distinction) from the University of Oxford, and a PhD in International Law.

Ms. Diana Chng, Manager (Projects)

At Global Compact, Diana oversees the annual CSR Summit and the youth competition. A shopper at heart, she is always on the lookout for good deals and she applies her ‘shopping philosophy’ to looking out for partner collaborations to organising the Summit and youth programmes at Global Compact. She has a passion for helping the disadvantaged and has spent more than half of her career dedicated to working for non-profits. She graduated from the University of New South Wales with a Bachelors of Commerce (Merit) and the field of CSR/ environmental sustainability/ governance is where she wants to be.
